A Decision Has Been (sort of) Made!

Ok, I guess I should go ahead and make a decision here. I think I'm going to go with the video submitted by Styxhexenhammer3, although I actually liked them all. I'll probably end up using each of them at some point or other so please don't delete them from your Youtube vids, guys. Ok?

Also, in the comments of the last post (one with the vids) a visitor called Solomonopoly is looking for a song. I can't place it off hand but if any of you can help, please post an answer for this visitor. He (or she) has listed the lyrics but they didn't actually say it was a Charlie song. I didn't recognize it, myself. It's called "Man's Son".

Hey Psyche, do you have any idea which album this version of "Never Say Never To Always" is?

I have no idea where "Man's Son" came from, I googled it and only got sites with the lyrics but there was no source for the song. My guess is it's a written work/song of Charlies but it was never recorded.

"Zab" that version of I'll Never Say Never To Always is off of the Family Jams CD (also the Manson Family Sings album), Psyche has the CD uploaded on the blog and you can find it in the archives.

This is me again. Charlie did record the song "Man's Son" and it can be heard on the Charles Manson Superstar DVD. But, the problem is that it wasn't credited on the DVD and the makers of that movie don't even remember where they got the song from.

It must be a really rare track.

If anyone can hook me up, I have a lot of goodies to trade.

well this is interesting, just when I thought I'd heard everything this shows up!

I guess it's one more thing to hunt down...I'll talk to some people I know about it.

solomonopoly, are you sure it's in Superstar?

I just scanned through the film on my computer and listened to all the music it had in it, and none of it matched up with the lyrics you posted.

Do you have a specific time frame the song appears in?

Psyche, just to let you know I found a copy of "Fear, Power, God" at a record store today for $20. It's in great shape, and a really cool record. Once I get around to ripping it I'll upload it and post the link for you.

Cheers,
-Daniel

ps. the Manson track is just "As I told You On This Chord Once Before" from the San Quentin tape.

Thanks Daniel! Can't wait. I heard that it was going to be re-released a while back but I've yet to see it.

Yes, it is playing at the beginning of Chapter 12, it says, "And I am just a man's son..." as well as at the beginning of Chapter 14, it says, "And the world is... Spinning around... Spinning around in space..."

I have a sharp ear for something I am really looking for. I just popped it into my computer and started listening to the music on each Chapter and I already found two places in the movie that has it playing in the background...

Thanks.

Okay I heard the parts you pointed out, it definitley is a prison recording. It sounds like the same recording as the San Quentin tape, or maybe the Way Of The Wolf. I checked through these discs (not real thoroughly) but I couldn't find anything that matched up...

I'm at a loss...
